Roger & Gallet Open edt- A Gentleman Classic!

My memory of Roger & Gallet Open takes me back to my childhood. Whenever we used to go for any function or during a religious festival like Diwali, My Father used to spray this on me. It was his signatures scent Ig 😅.

Hence for me it’s not just a Perfume but a Memory of my Father. He is no more in this World but this Perfume always makes me feel his warmth around me…

Scent Profile -This is Tobacco Citrous beauty! Gentlemen’s Scent having many mature notes and makes you feel high class!

Opening The scent opens with Citrousy notes- mostly Lemon. It also has Tobacco undertone but Lemon is more prominent. There are hints of Lavender too which I absolutely love.The opening is just amazing with Amazing Atomiser too!

Mid Notes The scent goes into Mid Notes of Tobacco and Earthy notes. The Tobacco is very smooth and not at all loud like in TF Oud Wood.

Base Notes The Dry down has mostly a Patchouli, some hints Lemon and Tobacco feel. The Blend is incredible and no other note is overpowering in the dry down.

Longevity This is definitely a Monster Performer. On skin it easily lasts for 6-7 hrs and on clothes I can smell it for days sometimes 😂. And of course with time it aged beautifully!

*My Notes about the Fragrance * For me this is one of my all time favourite perfumes as it reminds me of My Dad. The Blend is very smooth and the Tobacco is very wearable. This is a Vintage classic reminding you scents in the era of Eau Sauvage, Armis Perfumes in the 80s! I think it got discontinued so Idk if Authentic is available anywhere or not. But if you can this is definitely a Must Have in your collection. If anybody knows any seller selling the original one, let me know I also want to get 2-3 backup bottles 😅.
