Armaf Milestone needs a little more hype

Basically the title 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is an excellent summer freshie around the 3k INR price point from Armaf’s CDN line-up!

Opens with a prominent salty waermelon note that you would either love or hate. Gets a lot more smoother with time, as has happened with my bottle. Very ocean-breeze, classic summery day vibes.

The opening lasts close to one hour for me. After that, it’s mostly a clean woody, musky drydown. The sandalwood note is a dry one and blends in nicely, with the distinctive bitterness of violet leaves.

Milestone’s performance is excellent for the price point. One might goes noseblind from the ambroxan but this one sticks around pretty much for the entire day - projecting softly even after 6/7 hours, I smell it on my clothes easily even the next day.

The opening marine note might not be everyone’s cup of tea but it is made very bearable and balanced with Bergamot. Not a blind buy, but in the oceanic freshie genre, I think Milestones is much safer than the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue with its calone note, or Lattafa Atlas with its near-fatal longevity.

If you’re tired of the fruity/citrusy/shower-gel freshies, get a decant of this.
