Rosa Mocha by Scentari - Best budget Coffee based perfume ??

Recently, a few weeks back, I saw this brand called Scentari, so I ordered almost all of their perfumes to check them out.

In the market, we don’t have many options for coffee-based scents (the most popular ones are Intense Cafeand Ristretto Intense Cafe by Montale, and Amore Cafe by Mancera). Other than that, there aren’t many coffee-based fragrances that last a very long time.

Rosa Mocha by Scentari is inspired by Intense Cafe:-

•Opening: Initially, I get a very strong bitter coffee smell with some sweet roses in the background. In the opening, the coffee smell is very strong, but later, it moves to the background as other notes dominate.

•Dry-down: After 30 minutes, the coffee takes a backseat (and becomes creamy here), while the roses and vanilla start to dominate the fragrance. A lot of people might have tried rose-vanilla or rose-oud perfumes, but because of the coffee note, this one smells a little different.

•Performance: This comes in extrait concentration, and it does feel very thick. It projects nicely for around 2+ hours and lasts the whole day on clothes.

Note: Most of Scentari’s perfumes are from their new batch, so they might not perform as well initially. I’d suggest macerating them for a few weeks.

Weather/Occasion: It’s a sweet fragrance that really shines in winter, but you can also wear it on summer evenings. It can be worn anywhere and is slightly on the sweeter side (but not overly sweet). It’s perfectly unisex and will definitely pull a lot of compliments.

Rating and Review: 9.5/10. In my opinion, it’s a perfect value-for-money scent (₹600 for 30ml). The quality, blending, and concentration are all top-notch. The 30ml-100ml bottles are very heavy and come with pressurized atomizers.

Scentari Review: Scentari is a very new Indian house, and they are working hard. However, their shipping process is quite slow since they make perfumes in very small batches. My order took around two weeks to arrive, but they’re very active on WhatsApp and answer every query. In my opinion, they’re doing everything right, from product quality to packaging. That said, right now they are launching too many perfumes at the same time, which I don’t think is a great idea. Instead, they should focus on making a bigger stock of fewer SKUs so they can manage everything better.
