My first niche.

So after long contemplation, I decided to pull the trigger on Naxos as the first niche fragrance in my collection. My final choice came down to Naxos or Atelier des Ors Lune Féline. Fortunately, I got a good deal on TataCliq Luxury and paid 15K for 100ml.

On the delivery day, I was surprised when a huge box was delivered. I was expecting it to be bigger than a normal fragrance box, as I had seen in unboxing videos on the internet. But to my surprise, inside the generic box was a big, elegant box from Maison Des Parfums (the seller). This made it one of the best unboxing experiences I've had to date.

As for the fragrance, it's not very masculine and leans somewhere in between, where I know some people will find it a bit feminine and try to convince me that I’m wearing a woman’s perfume. To my nose, it opens with a blast of honey—like you poured the whole bottle on yourself. After 30 minutes, you'll start to get hints of spices like tobacco and lavender, which give it a very smooth and soothing touch. I applied it on my neck with one spray on each side, and the longevity is easily 10+ hours on my skin, with a good projection and Sillage, as I can still smell it and people around me getting whiffs of it.

It’s definitely a winter fragrance, but I know I’ll wear it all year long, as I’m the kind of person who wears Ombre Leather in the summer too. (Don’t come at me—I’m crazy like that!)

My take: If you have nearly 15-20K to spend on 'smelly water,' you should go for it.
