Season 2 is such an underrated season

A lot of people like to say that Degrassi doesn’t start to get REALLY good until Season 3 (a bit I agree with) but I honestly think Season 2 is so underrated. I love how Season 2 is like the lovechild to 1 & 3. It still has the innocence and charming immaturity of Season 1 but has a significant amount of hard hitting storylines and emotional relationship dynamics like Season 3.

I also think this Season is more important to the grand scheme of the series than people give it credit for. It’s the characters still at their most “gimmicky” so it helps build the foundation for their future character development in later seasons. overall every time I rewatch Degrassi i appreciate this season more. It’s the perfect inbetween season that deserves far more love than it receives
