How to build a routine?

I never really had a routine of my own, always adapted to what I had to do, but not in a healthy way. I've had sleep issues since high school and a recently discovered sleep apnea. But I managed to study even though I barely slept, now I left my old college, and I hope to change to another one on the start of the next year. For now I'm decided to get some discipline, and started waking up early and going to sleep earlier, been doing it for almost a week now. I believe what I need right now is to organize my life, so I can start studying again, for myself, not because I'm required to. My question is, what is the best way to do that?
