Dealing with Lifting?

So I've been doing DD for about 3 months now and I seriously love it. I've noticed that there's usually a teeny tiny bit of lift along the lengths of my nails, but never enough to be serious issue.

Currently, put on the Violet Geode set about 3 days ago (gorgeous color!) and this set seems to be lifting away from my lengths substantially more. I'm considering putting a little drop of nail glue between the gel and my nail on the lengths. I've never used nail glue before and I don't want to do anything that might be damaging to the gel. How do you all deal with lifting?
