Newbie to nail wraps

Normal an at home nail polish gal but wanted to give wraps a try. I don't think I did too bad for my first try, can definitely see room for improvement. Pics are from day of application, I've had them on over a week now. Definitely have wear marks on the free edge. A few chips. Had 2 nails where I lost side of nail that I had to redo which turned out ok as far as wrap goes just wish I could have filed/shaped nail more.

Overall it's been interesting. I'll definitely keep some nail wraps on hand for emergency situations where I don't have time to paint my nails. I'm getting ancy going into wearing them over a week, I usually start playing with new colors by now plus I miss touch up reshaping a lot. Don't really like the feeling of how the wraps grab things in my wallet when I reach for a credit card. Still a little bit of feeling that my nails are suffocating that I use to get with nail polish 25 years ago.
