Played WITH My First Vondel Undermap Glitcher…

…and I feel bad for not reporting.

Spawned in to Vondel last night for one last run before calling it a night. Rando A said he was going to go to the glitch location to get there before anyone else could. I thought, cool, doing the Lord’s work—keeping this match safe from the undermappers. Rando B and I run to dead drop some cash for me for a daily/weekly. I notice Rando A heading back our way, and in hindsight, right down the canal. Rando A says he’s got some ops nearby and we head out with our one plates to support. I drive past the ops and go to loop in from behind. Nothing ever come from it but…Rando A says if we get into sh*t to get in the water. I assumed he had an FTAC or something and was good in the water. As we go on, he’s really getting excited about the possibility of us leading people to the water for him. We run into some ops near bike parking and take one out. Swoop in and find bodies everywhere in bike parking. Rando A asks that we drop any good loot in the water. I’m think, of course, so none else can have it. That’s SOP. That’s when I jump in the water to take him a 3 plate and he points out that I can’t see him but he’s there. And that’s when it finally hit me. He never explicitly says he’s under the map but I said, “You’re under there aren’t you?”He says, “Yeah. Want me to teach you guys?” We both give an unenthusiastic, “No.” He proceeds to get out and we go to final waiting to get push b/c we know there’s at least one squad nearby. They never come until the chopper takes off. Then, he wanted to run it back with us and we both checked out. I need to go check but I don’t think he even had any operator kills. So, hope he has fun doing absolutely nothing. But now I feel bad I just went to bed and didn’t report even though I know it won’t do any good.
