Transparency question for international touring artists

Hey everyone!

I have a question for the internationally touring artists:

What fee were you asking for when starting your first international gigs?

For reference I have a duo with a friend from another country and we're starting to get our first gigs as a duo. Our first one will be next month at a major club in france, that offered us 1000€++ for our debut. Now some more requests are coming in and we're wondering if we should keep up this amount or rather settle for a lower rate.
