Everclear vs. Perfumer's Alcohol

I find that Everclear has a distinct alcohol aroma, which is so strong that you have to wait a second or two after applying it to get a sense of the scent you've mixed it with. is perfumers alcohol better in this regard? The Everclear is 190 proof. They cost about the same amount: I'm just wondering if it's worth springing for the stuff which is ostensibly made for perfume.
