What are some observable differences between a DID/OSDD system and a singlet's IFS system, assuming no known blackouts?
I did resonate deeply with a lot of things I read about DID/OSDD. But apparently, after reading more in-depth descriptions of IFS, it appears singlets' IFS parts may also have distinct ages and polar opposite thought processes/behaviors. They may also have different names and hold traumatic memories other parts are unaware of. They may take turns controlling the singlet's thoughts and behaviors, and communicate among themselves.
I can't access a professional experienced with DID/OSDD to assess me for it anytime soon because the mental healthcare system in my country isn't in very good shape. I don't want to mislead myself into believing we are a system when these experiences may also be present in traumatized singlets with badly integrated IFS parts.
I don't intend to self-diagnose or ask y'all to diagnose me because I know I probably can't be 100% sure without a professional assessment. I just want to know if there's anything I should watch out for that strongly indicates that I don't just have IFS parts but am part of a DID/OSDD system. Or if anything could strongly indicate I'm not part of a system.
