Unexpected Crestie Foster Dad— looking for advice!

Hi all, my girlfriend’s family lost their house in the Eaton Fire in LA this week, and I’ve become a foster dad to their crestie, Bowser.

I’m concerned because he hasn’t moved in about 20 hours, and has had a cricket in his mouth for the whole time. Is this within the range of normal behavior?

So far— I have kept him in a bathroom, away from any stimuli like myself or my cats. I have misted twice daily, put water in a little bowl for him, and have tried to help maintain his circadian rhythms by turning on and off the light in the bathroom to correspond with day and night.

Now, based on what I’ve read. I’m getting him a heating lamp. I just bought the reptisun 5.0 UVB. Now, I’m looking for a lamp to hold the bulb. Any suggestions? Does it matter what type of lamp. Thank you all for your help in advance!
