1st time traveling to CR and need some input

Hi everyone!

My partner and I are heading to CR for 5 1/2 days the second week of January. We have a red eye on sunday and are arriving early morning Monday.

We fly into Liberia and im renting a car. My plan is to drive to La Fortuna right after we land and spend Monday to mid day Wednesday there.

After that I'm stuck. I was initially thinking Tamarindo but then read about how touristy it is. But now Im thinking Samara Beach to end the trip. I just want to get an idea if that makes sense logistically. My flight out is in the evening on Saturday.
