Nosara, Samara, Santa Teresa? -Help me pick!
Heading to Costa Rica in two weeks and still need to book the last few days of my trip!
I've made plans for La Fortuna, and Monteverde, and am now looking for a place to stay for the last 4 nights of my trip, before I head back to Liberia. Solo 30F, looking to stay in a friendly, social place!
I want to surf a bit (still beginner), swim, beach, explore, and do some yoga. I've been struggling to choose between Nosara, Samara, and Santa Teresa. I was thinking 2 nights in 2 places, but with a 5 hour shuttle in between I'd be losing a lot of nice beach time on that extra travel day. So now I'm thinking I should just choose Santa Teresa for the 4 days, and then book that day trip to Tortuga island? Feeling so lost as I keep reading such mixed reviews about all these these spots, and I don't have enough time to do it all!
The first half of my trip is a lot quieter, so I would like to experience some fun nightlife or dancing, but nothing too wild, and I'm not into the super hippy-soundbath-forest-rave-scene... Which is maybe what Santa Teresa is like?
Let me know know your experiences, and any hostel recommendations that are fun, but also where you can actually sleep!
