C7 Carbon

I bought a 1999 C5 Corvette Hatchback a few months ago. Recently I got it in my head that I could make a track car based off the famous C5R race car that Pratt-Miller developed with GM in the late 90s.

I don’t plan on doing much to the stock LS1 engine, other than a few small improvements but was really hoping to recreate the visual at least. Would need a widebody kit and a custom hood with vents on the front hood.

I’ve tried to find it online and the only thing I can find is from a company called C7 Carbon. Only reviews I could find are from BBB and 9 of 11 or so are terrible. I don’t want to spend $10,000 for garbage.

Does anyone have experience with this company? Or have an alternative suggestion?
