Oncee Again manager look for help

I don’t know what to do anymore, so I’m trying to seek help here.
I am Cogito, the manager of Once Again. The day before yesterday, my only account was banned.

I’m not sure of the exact reason. The Chinese servers recently returned, and it’s possible that switching between the Chinese server account and the Asia server account caused the Chinese server’s unique NetEase anti-cheat system to be detected by the Asia server. I’ve seen similar speculations on Chinese forums, but it might also be a simple AI mistake. Our team’s tank player, Lige, was mistakenly banned before, and there’s even a record of this incident being discussed on Reddit.

If you check Lige’s Twitter, you’ll see there are hundreds of other former Chinese professional players banned on the Asia server—not to mention potentially tens of thousands of ordinary Chinese players who have no voice to speak out.

Chinese players must use VPNs to play on the Asia server, and using a VPN increases the risk of being banned. This makes every Chinese player anxious every day they play the game.

In the past two days, I registered two new accounts to watch Once Again’s scrims, but both accounts were banned the following morning. This might be because they share the same IP as my previous account, but I’m not sure. I can’t bear this anymore. I’ve tried submitting tickets to Blizzard, but all I got were AI-generated responses. I reached out on Twitter, but there was no response from Blizzard either.

Some may say that since Chinese players need to use VPNs to play on other servers, and VPN usage violates the rules, they shouldn’t be playing on those servers. However, for professional players, whether it’s to improve their skills or to arrange scrims with overseas teams, using a VPN to play on other servers is unavoidable. Because of this, even after having three accounts banned, I still have to keep registering new accounts just to watch Once Again’s scrims with Korean teams.

I also sought help from NetEase staff, but they said they couldn’t do anything about bans on overseas servers. Tickets are answered by AI, Twitter gets no attention, and even the operator of our own server is powerless. All I can do is post here to share my experience—along with the experiences of many other Chinese players—in the hope that someone from the official team will notice this issue.
