10 Years in AV industry-Trying to find something else to do with my skills
Hello,
Looking for some advice/guidance from other AV veterans who have ever felt burnt out due to struggling to find the work as fulfilling as it once was. My background, I've worked in the industry for close to 10 years, ranging from stage hand, onsite support technician and now currently as a UC Analyst. I've worked at one of the largest integrators and it seems like the industry is in a stalemate due to progression with system design and companies not knowing how to provide the best service to their customers, aka overselling and under delivering.
Currently, I'm learning how to master tracks since I love music a ton and I'm a musician myself. But, it seems like the road to make a decent living in this is few and far between.
Does anybody have any thoughts on where I can go with my skills from the AV industry? I'm more than happy to send a link to my linkedin profile.
