My signature scent combo 🌓

I have been using Sauvage Elixir as my signature scent base ever since I bought it (only one spray under my shirt). It has the best performance of anything I currently own. Dark, spicy, sharp, woody, lavender that turns creamy during the dry-down.

Recently got Egoiste Plat. It has a fresh take on the lavender and woods with a fougere vibe. Although this is not an elixir and just an Eau de Toilette, its performance really surprised me. It projects a ton for the first couple hours and lasts as a powerful skin scent for 8+ hrs at least for me.

This has now been my signature scent combo. Bright fresh notes that last me during the day followed by the darker notes that shine through by the evening. Yes, Sauvage is highly popular. But Sauvage Elixir is not common for the average guy at its price point. Yes, Chanel is also popular. But Egoiste Platinum doesn’t seem to be more commonly known and can’t really be found for cheap without paying retail it seems.

I have a couple niches of which Aventus Absolu is my favorite fragrance. But if I was to reduce my current collection down to just two things for the sake of good scent, good performance, and good value, it would be this.
