How to get rid of cat litter smell?

Hi! Happy new year everyone!! I live in a rather small space and share it with 3 cats which means their litter inevitably smells. The trickiest part is I can no longer smell it so get really paranoid about it anytime I have guests. I've gotten stainless steel trays to replace the plastic ones which I think has made a big difference, scoop out their poop every evening, use cat litter freshener and try to keep the area clean overall and still can't help but feel like the place smells. Is there anything else I could be doing? Any tips on how to make the house smell nice as well? Thank you in advance, I feel like this sub is full of magicians. Hopefully one day I'll be as knowledgeable as some of you are!
