A question for Christian community. Can we visit Church as a different religious background?

So Past some weeks, me and my friend want to Visit church as our wild curiosity of religion ideology.

But I have this certain fear that what if i go there and the people there just say out of nowhere " You have a muslim background, you aren't invited here"

So if anybody who can guide me like that actually happens or its just a myth created by common people.
