Was Bob the real villain? My case

Clearly Bob either taught Chris racism against blacks and Jews directly or indirectly. The initial signs and posts about finding a girlfriend caught fire because of Chris’ details about not wanting a black woman. Calling Mike Snyder a Jew didn’t help his case. Bob sewed the seeds in the racist department which caught fire with the trolls.

Bob enabled Chris to believe the Game Place was the crux of all of the trolls and bad things that happened to Chris. His phone call with the “employee” displayed that he actually thought everything wrong in Chris’ life was due to Michael Snyder and Megan Schroeder, the two people who actually gave Chris a chance. If Bob had any sense he would’ve put a stop to these delusions instead of fortifying Chris’ paranoia which led to his first arrest and countless errors in his life.

Bob was an absent parent and would defer most things to Barb. His letter is often cited as a heartfelt part of the story but his actions didn’t back it up. His own son was driving across the country for fake women and he did nothing to stop it afterwards. Bob stopped caring.

Bob knocked up a crazy bitch in her 40s and got what he deserved in Chris. His own kids hated him. Bob is the villain in the Chris Chan saga.
