Main Street Motorists

I live just off Main Street and really enjoy being able to walk places. I have noticed that some choose to treat this road like the Autobahn and I really fear for pedestrian safety.

Yes, crosswalks are great (if cars follow the law) but they don’t impede drivers from recklessly speeding around one another.

Out of genuine curiosity, how does one go about bringing this potential danger to light to drive actionable change?
