Patron saint regrets?

When I was making confirmation it was out of obligation rather than a strong desire or faith. Now, as I’m older, I have a different view and it is now more of a choice. However, when I was choosing my patron saint I just picked one whose name I liked and liked the picture of without reading at all about her story. (Saint Maria) However, she is the patron saint of rape and victims which I fortunately am not part of. I feel badly for choosing her as my patron saint without reading anything out of her (but I was young and not very committed at that point.) Are there ways to change your patron saint as an adult?
