Two litter boxes for two cats

Hey guys!

I recently adopted two cats and was told by the shelter and all my friends to make sure I get two litter boxes, which I did. I set them up in two different rooms so the cats have two good areas in the apartment to use the restroom.

But I’ve noticed they completely ignore one of them, and it’s in a room they’re always in…. It almost seems like they go out of their way to use the other box in my front room- they both use that one only.

I’ll keep the 2nd box of course, but is there any way I can make them use the 2nd box… well more?
