Cancer support services

This question is related to support services for the patient and family members. In the UK they have all sorts of non-profits/charities that provide centres and in-home visits. Things like therapy and classes.

My parents are facing cancer here in Calgary and they went to the cancer support centre and left feeling very underwhelmed as it did not compare to the Uk support services and charities. Can anyone recommend anything besides the support service at the Arthur Child Cancer Centre?

Edit: many thanks for all the suggestions. They went to WellSpring it just didn’t compare to what is available in the UK unfortunately.

Many thanks
