Buying Beer in Calgary as an European

Flying into Calgary this week and as I am from Austria we like a few beer here and there. Heared that Beer prices can be quiete high in Canada and wondering if its better to buy beer at the airport before leaving or in the liquor stores? If in stores, which ones have some good and kinda cheap ones? We are more into Lager than IPA, carft beer etc. Also would like to hear your favorite ones in a good price range 😁 Really appreciate some advise! Thanks!
