CTS 3.6 rattle on cold start

Had my timing chain replaced less than a year ago and have put only 15k km on it since changed. Now that the weather is getting a little colder I am sometimes hearing timing chain rattle on startup. Is my timing chain already stretching with only 15k km put on it?? Could there be anything else causing this like a bad oil drain back valve?
