Was this year’s Ohio State Buckeyes the best in-season redemption in a long time?

I've only been following football since 2019 so this an honest question, was this the in season turnaround in recent history

The last image of them in the regular season was getting humiliated by their hated rival. Being on the wrong end of the biggest upset in history of the biggest rivalry in American sports. Getting clowned on by the entire country for not being able to beat unranked Michigan.

They would’ve missed the playoffs in literally any other year in college football and gone down as a joke, but instead they ended on top.
