Difference in politics view

Met a guy on bumble, went on several dates/talk on phone everyday...all was good but had some reservations but tried to overlook it and not be too picky. I told him how I felt but he avoids any conflict or uneasy convos.... Couple things that made me uneasy...

  1. He said he was 5'9...I'm 5'8.. he's definitely shorter than me
  2. Asked about politics/ views. Told him who I voted for and he kinda chuckled and said yeah to which i assumed he voted the same(now in hind sight I think was weird and i should always be direct and have someone say things explicitly)
  3. Hesitated to tell me he was part Palestian ( im guessing he has faced strong prejudicial reactions to that)
  4. Always pauses and says "sorry", "nevermind","I shouldnt say" To which I told him to be authentic and not edit so much. He should talk freely because I truly want to know him

Then we go to dinner, I make a politics comment, he doesn't respond so I ask who he voted for. He proceeds to give me a preamble about not being political. I then ask him 2 tines and he finally tells me. Then I ask why and he starts on but changes topic because it's too divisive

We clearly voted differently and for the most part that's ok but I'm more mad he tried to hide it after I asked. I like to understand people, views on things that matter to me and think you should want to know when you're choosing a life partner. I dislike how he communicates or rather lack there of. It feels inauthentic and disingenuous. Am I overreacting?
