Help me stop a bug ingestion (ew gross)

Got a steady (and absolutely disgusting) stream of roaches in my kitchen, mostly behind the fridge and in cabinets. Small guys, maybe an inch or so. Seeing 5-10 every day, and my god to I spray a lot of Raid on them but they just come back.

I’ve got the exterminator coming out again but what else can I do here? I feel very powerless and just want to feel comfortable and clean in my space.

Any help, recommendations, etc is more than appreciated.
