Is anyone else unable to use super?

I'm doing the contest and for some reason (I think after grabbing the ball) I become unable to use my super properly, only able to autoaim it (and I have to hit what seems to be a really specific part of the button) or it just doesn't work at all.

Is this happening to anyone else or is it my phone?
