Is ladder even fixable?

Since the trophy rework, trophies are essentially meaningless. Nowadays, my special needs baby cousin can hit max rank and it’s genuinely super annoying. Ladder isn’t competitive at all; even less than before which wasn’t very competitive either. The game has 0 competitiveness outside of matcherino and esports. In my opinion,master is also super easy compared to power league.. Don’t wanna sound like a broken record here but I’m quitting brawl stars! There’s essentially nothing that motivates me to push ranked/ladder or anything really.. anyone feel the same?
