Demolition Tanks: A NonCredible Defense Proposal

Good day fellow nyets, I am tere today to rpesent my credible proposal for Malaysia's next tank purchase. Instead of looking at modern MBTs like the Leopard, Abrams or anything similar, may I instead suggest something that will probably be more effective in our tank hell?

My proposal: ENGINEERING TANKS/ ASSAULT ENGINEER TANKS

No these arent recovery vehicles, instead they are basically demolition vehicles

Why??

Simple, we have lots of urban areas and forests where enemies can take cover in. Flushing them out with artillery wont be easy, and air to ground munitions arent cheap. The solution? A HESH or HE shell shot from a large caliber cannon. Cheap AND Effective at demolishing everything and killing everything in the blast radius.

Cons: Heavy shells and low range, so u have to get close. Simple, armor em upp
