Why did blue lock fanbase end up heavily gay?

as someone who plays and enjoys soccer/football why did a show/manga which involves tactics and mindsets of footballers and different types of playstyles in football end up with such a mha type of fanbase? Just an analysis ive had when on X and TikTok most blue lock fans are shippers? I don’t mean this offensively either just curious.
