Haven't played the game. Should I? Why?

I have heard a lot of good things about BMW, but very few specifics - just that it's a good game.

I've played a lot of universally-liked AAAs. Some (CP77) I loved, others (BG3) didn't really stick with me. So, I thought that instead of looking at articles written by sponsored out-of-touch reviewers, I'd ask the community what they love about the game.

Don't tell me that the game's good; I know that much. If it wasn't, you wouldn't be here.

Tell me why it's good.

Is it the story? The aesthetic and references to eastern mythology? Maybe the combat is somehow amazing? Whatever aspect of the game made you go "damn, this game is so cool", I wanna know!
