2nd bass

My first and current bass is a cheap scorpion p bass, it helped me learn a couple things but I want something that feels better, I want a squier jazz bass now, I’ve only got to hold one for a bit and it was a bit buzzy, and I also have been able to play with an Ibanez pj bass and that has been consistently smooth, so now I’m a bit conflicted on whether to get the squier or Ibanez, I also prefer the squier designs. What would you recommend?
