I think people are overreacting.

I'm not some super Bambu fanboy and was pretty alarmed when I first found out what happened but after looking closer... I'm not sure a lot of us have media literacy. As far as I'm aware the main concern was that Bambu could essentially control your printer, which is a very valid concern with one caveat, Bambu explicitly states that you never have to update to the new version. Three times. Mind you this isn't the updated version, this is the original version released on the 16th found on archive.is. honestly please tell me if I'm missing some other massive reason for this because I just don't see it personally.
