How to get Shadowheart to share her secret? ACT 1

I was able to woo Shadowheart in act 1 but decided to restart as I didn't like the race I chose, I read in some guide that after the owl bear incident and the read prayer chest thingy you are to press her on to talk about her secret, in my rerun the prompt for that talk didn't happen after the chest thingy so I was wondering if does it happen only at that time period or it can happen later on as I proceed the game??
