When do you have a baby shower? How far?

I’m 13 weeks and want a baby shower, not a big one but I’ve always wanted one. I asked my aunt who loves planning stuff if she would help me because I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing (FTM). What month of pregnancy do you even have a baby shower? I’m due in December and know I don’t want it during the colder months cause I still want to wear a nice dress, but would August or September (5-6 months) be too early? When did you all have your baby shower, how far along were you? Anyone having/had a baby in December when was/will be yours?
