Glucose test

Hello! Question for people who have done the pregnancy glucose tolerance test. Were you given the glucose/sugar drink to drink at home and then went in to the doctor’s office just for the blood draw? It seems some providers require the drink to be consumed in front of them and then the blood draw an hour later (so you’re stuck in the office for 1+hours) but other places let you do the at home option and just come in for the blood draw.

For answers, can you tell me city and state of where the test was done and whether the drink was able to be done at home or in the office?
