Will be leaving from the self-proclaimed best BPO company.
I've been in the BPO industry for 8 years, and I'm currently working as one of the support team. Pero ngayon lang ako na-drain ng ganito sa isang company. Grabe yung account na hinahandle ko-parang pioneer vibes kahit 3 years na siya.
The operations? Sobrang lala. Puro data manipulation para magmukhang pumapasa ang site.
Ang supervisor ko? Grabe mang-gaslight at mang-guilt trip para mag-OT ka. Band-aid solution palagi ang OT to cover staffing gaps, pero pag nagrerequest ng headcount? Declined.
Six months ago, sinabi ko sa supervisor ko na aalis ako for two weeks. Dinecline kasi daw may staffing gaps at kailangan ko raw maghanap ng magko-cover. But they didn’t even create a mitigation plan since then.
Ngayon, I'm at my breaking point. Sobra na. Nag-email ako about sa kakulangan nila at nagpasa ng resignation. Now they’re asking me to stay until they find someone to replace me. Wow. Super disposable.
To everyone: I know life is hard right now, lalo na with our economy. Pero isipin n’yo rin ang work-life balance; And kung swertehin man, mag maghanap ng trabaho na well-paid plus may work-life balance.
Let's avoid toxic workplaces in 2025. Let's avoid being people-pleaser as well (Guilty).
