What are your cherished memories with that one really special teacher?
I’m tempted to share this post to the Australian teachers subreddit for an injection of positivity. Here’s my story.
I wasn’t an athletic kid, I hated the kilometre lap run we had to do each year in PE. Often I was well behind everyone and my tracked time was atrocious. The teacher taught us a great positive worldview and told me in year eight, “Your score was a couple minutes faster than last year and in my eyes, that’s a win you should feel proud of.“
Now I’m running many kilometres, and faster than I did back then.
