Do I need to replace this bathroom window?

Hi all, I recently bought a unit and am planning to renovate the bathroom. I’m planning to change the current configuration to have a shower by the wall next to the window. Do I need to change the window to a stainless steel one to make sure it’s waterproof? Or is the current one fine? I’m getting mixed answers from different builders.
