Is it dangerous to leave water under tiles?
We’re currently in the middle of our insurance inspecting our leaking shower and someone just came out and said that there was moisture detection high all the way up to the spot where I’m pointing. Hey said that water cannot go away once it’s under and it will stay!!!
He said it’ll need a complete bathroom renovation not just the shower which I’m bummed about. In the chance that our insurance doesn’t cover it. It’ll be a 15 grand job.
My question is as I’m not gonna have that much money. I’m gonna have to leave it for awhile until I can save, is it dangerous to leave it in this stake for years? We won’t be using the shower of course until we can afford to fix (have baths) but will it affect the house in any way?
