Electricity and gas

Not really sure this is the right place for this post, but here goes!

Has anyone been in this situation before? Someone has used my address to change energy providers, so I no longer technically have an electricity and gas plan under my name. It’s been a week since I flagged this with my energy and gas provider, however it still hasn’t been fixed (it has been escalated as priority, again!). My question is, has this ever happened to you and how long did it take to have your energy back under your name?
