what are everyone’s thoughts on the announcement that Michelle Obama won’t be attending the inauguration?

according to CNN, her office mentioned yesterday that she would not be attending. to keep things neutral I won’t say my opinion in this OP, but I will say it in a comment. I’d love to hear thoughts from across the political spectrum, as this has been popping back up on my mind for the past few hours (I work nights and I’ve seen it discussed across various social media too)
