[General Sci-fi] Stealth in Space via spacetime manipulation

As I know, using conventional physics, there are no ways to hide yourself in Space as long as your ship is warmer than the ambient space temperature (which is almost absolute 0) so it's practically impossible to hide yourself in essentially every possible wavelength.

But if we go with more fancy physics (stuff that works in theory but lack practical evidences),

Could we bend Spacetime around an object so much, it would be impossible to see what happens in or around it.
A bit like gravitational lensing or a black hole.

Did any sci-fi franchises explored this idea further?
