Are you hated?

So I just watched Sabine Hossenfelder video about if scientists were hated and I was surprised by some comments such as “science is dogma”, “science is made of beliefs”, etc. I seriously thought that the majority of those people don’t even know what is science but that brought me the question if you, as a physicist or as a science enthusiast, are feared or hated or even seen as having superiority complex when talking to the average Joe.
