Is someone having playful dark humor a red flag.

Im asking for my friend because she is not on reddit, she is 20 f and she made friends recently with someone on instagram, he is 25M, but he makes jokes like, he is a pedophile and he stalks her account, he seems really innocent and sweet but she wants me to ask, if its a red flag. What should i tell her?
